M圜AREER will still be available offline, though it will use an offline currency rather than VC which will no longer be available to earn or purchase for any modes That means no more MyTEAM, MyLEAGUE Online, Play Now Online, or roster and Draft Class sharing.
I couldn't even get an open three shot and I'm 99, gold catch and shoot. In a Rec game game I locked up my guy 0/9 and only touched the ball twice, AND we had two AI. Not to mention how little patience players have online for causal players. At that time, all online functionality will cease to function. The skill gap is way too wide for most players online, especially any build against a 3pt shooting build. Another reminder that the NBA 2K20 servers will be shut down on December 31st, 2021.
